At John Haugh’s ColorMatrix Open Skeet Championships held at Sportsmen’s Shooting Center in Canton OH May 12-14, 2006, the wife of the NSSA President, Trish Magyar, and her squad partner Glenn Ulbrich have a routine regarding the empty shells when Trish is done shooting a target.
An earlier version of this “dog and pony show” was with Larry Woo and his squad, usually at the Detroit Gun Club, where THREE of the squad members were involved and their ability to catch the empties was more than impressive.
Does your squad do anything like this or do you have a “unique” way to unload your gun? If so, send it along and I’ll post it under the Podcasts. If you’re in Ohio, let me know and I’ll get a video tape of you somehow!
