Ohio is gaining a new venue for registered Skeet—the Land of Legends Club at the Dillon State Park. Located just NE of Columbus, they offer two combination Skeet/Trap fields. Event 4 50 targets All Gauge Skeet

Re-entry permitted with a gun change

This is an Open Tournament – no special membership requirements to participate

Vintage Skeet competition for
Side by Side or Pump Shotguns
A vintage skeet event, Ohio vs. Michigan Vintage Skeet competitors in a postal. Shooters compete at their home club/state and scoring will be transmitted via Fax/phone/internet. A traveling Trophy will be engraved with the year and the name of the winning state (Michigan or Ohio), and will reside with the winner for one year. The event will be repeated annually.

Rules for 2010 Michigan vs. Ohio Vintage Skeet Challenge
-This is a non-registered tournament. Shoot the event at your own home club or join us at Black Wing June 5th.
-100 Vintage Skeet Targets [low gun and delayed release, otherwise standard NSSA rules apply]
-Low gun, comb below the armpit until the target emerges
-Target release may be from 0-3 seconds after calling.
-Teams are open to residents of Ohio and Michigan. Unlimited participation is allowed from each club, but only the top 3 scores from the State will be used for the MI/OH Challenge Cup Event.
Equipment
-Only Side by Side or Pump action shotguns are permitted. Any gauge may be used, but no handicaps are offered for smallbore usage.
Additional Rules
-One warning permitted per round for forgetting to take off an automatic safety.
-One warning per round for gun mount violations.
Additional violations after 1st warnings result in targets declared lost.
Cost
-You pay your local club’s target fees and submit a $3.00 award fee with your scores to Hal Hare, Ohio Chairman.
Awards
-We have a traveling trophy for the winning team. Individual awards based on Lewis Class,
8 per class.
