Bob Skillman and the Buckeye Vintagers

A special event will be held at the 2007 State Skeet Shoot to honor the memory of Dayton shooter, Bob Skillman.  Bob was a fan of the traditional side by side shotgun, and he used it in competition in his later years.
The Buckeye Vintagers felt that it was important to keep the SxS shotgun tradition alive.  They have donated $500.00 to the OSSA in Bob’s memory and are conducting a special 50 target, Event 6 Exhibition Match for Side by Side shotguns.  The Event is open to all members of the OSSA and you may shoot the event anytime Saturday.
The Buckeye Vintagers have donated a perpetual trophy to commemorate the winner of this inaugural event.  In addition, special award plaques will be distributed on a Lewis Class basis.
Regular skeet rules will apply–but you must fire a side by side shotgun to participate.  Targets will not impact a shooters current average, but will be added to lifetime targets.  Loaner guns will be available.
Cost is only $20.00 and any excess fees collected will be donated to the OSSA Hall of Fame Fund.  I do hope you will join us.
