NSSA “Association of the Year” 2007-2008
Dan Lewis is one of the friendly faces that you see around the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio Texas (home to the National Skeet Shooting Championships every October) during the 10 days or so of shooting both the Mini-World and the World Events.
During a lull between shoot offs in 2006, we get to hear a little inside story from Linda about the legendary Wayne Mayes. Wayne is a member of the National Skeet Shooting Association’s Hall of Fame as well as being a perennial All-American Team leader. Wayne has more records in this game than you can shake a stick at and several times a year will post perfect scores at major shoots where he needs to accumulate a 400 X 400 or a 500 X 500.
